Why "Flowing Waters Wholistics"?

This love for water isn't just a personal connection; for me, it's intricately woven into the principles of osteopathy, especially Andrew Taylor Still's (the founder of osteopathy) Arterial Rule. This rule emphasizes the absolute necessity of unobstructed flow within the body, such as the flow of blood in arteries, as any obstruction will eventually lead to dis-ease. In essence, it all boils down to one fundamental concept: any restriction or obstruction of flow can be seen as the beginning of dis-ease.

As osteopaths, we understand that a body in a state of balanced harmony relies on the unimpeded flow of these elements. Fluids, such as water, blood, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) or lymph, are the life force coursing through us, while energy, in various forms, is the very essence of our existence.

What I strive to accomplish in the body aligns perfectly with A. T. Still's principles. I aim to restore flow. I see the core of my work as removing the barriers that hinder the body's natural ability to heal itself and regain and maintain a healthier, more harmonious, homeostatic balance.

The choice of "Flowing Waters" in my business name encapsulates all these elements and values. It's more than just a business name; it encompasses my lifelong love for water, the essence of osteopathic principles, and signifies my commitment to removing obstructions and barriers on all levels - physical, emotional, and energetic.
